If u open 3ds max and a screen tells you something about 'broken license' error, you have to repair it because the software will ask you again the serial.
Sometimes happens u are editing something on 3dsmax and then program crashes totally, destroying the same software and license (because 3ds memory and registry will be corrupted too with the crash)
